8 AM
A zine written and illustrated by Oda Margrethe Lilleaasen.
8 am is a book about the tiny stories that make up our lives, the stories that shape who we are. And every single person you see when walking to the train station at 8 am in the morning have their own life - a life that they live without you witnessing it.
There is a word for the feeling you get when you realise this, sonder.
With environment and characters inspired by Southampton in England during a winter, this illustrated book is a love letter to all the people passing each other in the streets, on their way to work, home, school or the grocery store.
Next time you are out and about, perhaps try to get to know one of these strangers?
